MACT promotes Indian system of medicine in the target villages. It identifies and promotes use of indigenous medicines in the target village. MACT undertakes research on different herbs that are locally available that has medicinal values; these herbs are processed and supplied to the communities at a very nominal rates. A herbal garden is maintained to grow these herbal plants. The plants available in the herbal garden are also made available to the community if required. These medicines are promoted to cure illness.
The staff are trained Staff are trained on the use and medicinal values of each herbs, they in turn provide awareness to the communities on the use of each herb.
